A rapidly swirling mass of water appears at a location, drawing creatures to its centre.

The target point must be on the ground or in a body of water.

Until the spell ends, that area is Difficult Terrain. When you first cast this spell, all creatures in the area must make a Strength saving throw, taking 7d6 Water damage.

Critical Success (+10). The target is unaffected.
Success. The target takes half damage.
Failure. The target takes full damage and is pulled 4m towards the center.
Critical Failure (–10). As failure, except the target takes 1.5× damage.


A creature must make the same Strength saving throw when it first enters the area on a turn, and whenever it ends its turn in the area.

At Higher Levels: The damage increases by 1d6 for each spell level increase.
